Even though php BB3 has had a proper paid security audit performed during the development, there are still possibilities that security breaches can be found and exploited.
I had to change it a little bit since the bundle install as user discourse resulted in a permission denied error. But the following works: apt-get update && apt-get install libmysqlclient-dev -y git clone https://github.com/nlalonde//tmp/ruby-bbcode-to-md cd /tmp/ruby-bbcode-to-md gem build ruby-bbcode-to-md.gemspec gem install ruby-bbcode-to-md-0.0.13su - discourse echo "gem 'mysql2'" Otherwise I'd recommend installing a development environment and running the importer there.I was able to go 'into' the Docker and find the pre-installed phpbb3script but I don't know how to edit it or overwrite it with an edited script from my Windows machine into the Docker (with Putty/SSH).Nano (as per the install instructions) is not available in the Docker.Articles submitted by members of the community are checked for accuracy by the relevant php BB Team.

I tried to run the pbpbb3script with the default values (just to see if I could run it) but it says the required "mysql2" GEM cannot be found.
I found a command (gem install mysql2) to install the mysql2 GEM but that also failed: Thanks.
I'm a Windows guy with little Linux knowledge I installed Ubuntu server 14.04 on VMware and installed the Discourse docker as per instructions, including the email setup.
